uhh, I thought I was on to something here:
www.unicode.org...

but i see they changed the question... so maybe this isnt about Unicode or single encoding after all!

well I tried these two but they were wrong, I might´ve messed up though:
006d0069007300730069006e00740068007200650065.html
and
006D0069007300730069006E00740068007200650065.html

pretty much the same except for changing to capital letters...

I don't know about the single post thing ... the game doesn't accept php scripts, so any url like:

.../single.php?post=2403005

is invalid, even if you did change the 'post=' part to be any encoded representation of "mission three".

Anyways in the other game it was FINDING that link ... not entering it in as a URL.

Just my two lincolns ... could be way off as well.

inhouse tech genius said

single, would probably mean that single is a function and then you encode mission three

he's looking up what function single, might be

for the record, I understood very little of what he said

All I've been doing is reading about encoding , which I've never done before , and my brain feels like its going to jump out of my body. All I could get to was encoding it to binary and that didn't work either.

I've tried the Xoft encoder again (the one used in RINGS) and entered mission three (with and without quotes) and used single as the key.

Nada.

But if we put a certain numerically coded version of Mission Three into the single/post= thing, it could have some message that gives us the answer.

I tried

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Thats each letters place in the alphabet. No go.

is it possible that basingstoke canal is the 5th question?

the first answer was "givemethefirstquestion" which would make the second one the first question.

Well "Albert Burtoo" is clearly the most popular answer for the basingstoke canal question. I would think this is talking about the sumo beanbag question.

a=1
b=2
c=3 and so on. add up the letters and this equals 154.
