First, the clue sphere would indicate that this is an coordinate system (x,y,z).

I don't know of any coordiate systems that go to the ranges that these numbers do. Has a conversion been applied?

Does this refer to the position of the Magellan spacecraft?

I was thinking along the lines, since there are x,y, and z coordinates, what about a satellite in orbit??

we don't know for sure about the coordinate system used, as far as I can tell.

Hmmm...

Floridas on Venus? I went to Disney Land a couple times. Don't remember the trip
being that long.

sphere was bolded, which might imply the forum space exploration, denoted by a.....sphere.

magellan was the craft used for venus and those figures are topographic. if they can be converted, I found (and probably lost) a nice locator tool but it didn't accept the numbers I had.

I don't know of any coordinates that go to such extreme numbers. The fact "sphere' was bolded kind of made me think that they were spherical coordinates.

But I don't know. When Google and Google Earth fail me, I am useless.

Even if those are spherical coordinates, what's our frame of reference? The prime meridian?

ATTENTION

A minor, but important typo has been corrected in the current question.
-1467.344 = 1467.344

If it were measured in miles above Earth, it would be somewhere above South Georgia Island, or the South Sandwich Islands.

I've tried variations of geostationaryorbit, geosynchronousorbit, abovevenus, inorbitabovevenus, etc etc etc. Nothin'.
