i got a hint from someone very credible, can't say his name though, the hint was....

what's another expression for the word "one" ....... he said with that hint we should get it....

Duh. And I tried every possible combo of single post except the letters.

Ok, I've tried going through every word linked to 'one' at an online thesaurus and got nothing.

Even had a rush of inspriration and thought I had it, but again no luck.
the french word 'la' is used to denote an object and tied this in with ufo's to come up with 'battleoflosangeles' or 'battleofla'.

Sleep may now be a good option I think! Come back to it fresh tomorrow.

great, think I tried every NUMBER combination for those last night.

hmmmm i dont get how the clue i was given was worth a damn....
