Well the "." and the "u" page both had the characters hard-coded, not from scripts or anything.

I don't know if that means anything but figured I'd toss it in here.

i redid it all in explorer and i still get the "."

i am on firefox, just redid them all syill have the period

an initial, perhaps u.xxxxx

pertaining to a 'character' in recent clues

just shootin' in the dark , here.

Just redid them in each browser.

IE: "."
firefox: "u"

I'm gonna compare the sources and see if anything else is different.

Sources in firefox and IE are identical aside from the "." and "u".

Now what the heck are we supposed to make out of this?

I vote for a character that's being interpreted by each browser differently, or something.

when I input a wrong answer I always backspace immed.
