Trade and Development Agency cites strong, diverse programs
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has chosen Romania as its 2003 Country of the Year. The announcement was made October 28 during a
luncheon in Washington for visiting Romanian President Ion Iliescu.
Country of the year? How patronising. And I thought the UK was the model prisoner. So this is an award to encourage developing countries to buy
American? Romania can do without Coca-cola and McDonald$.
