But the question is when? Or maybe they have to wait for their other president....Amemjahjad. Either way it sounds like Iran still talking lots of usual smack but doing nothing.

How often does this guy speak out publically?
Is this his first speach since the start of the lebanese conflict?
To me this just doesnt seem like the normal rhetoric.
He repeats himself to the extent he's making sure people hear what he's saying.

I dont think this is a plain media message,
this crisis in lebanon has dragged on too long now wihtout any major surprise.

Me thinks August the 3rd really is going to be of a historical nature,
and i think he just gave the greenlight.

Relax.

It's rhetoric in preparation for attending an emergency meeting of the executive committee of The Organisation of Islamic Conference. The conference demanded to be part of the UN peacekeeping force to "stablize" the area.

Meanwhile they send bin ladens son to create terror cells there. Neat way to stablize the area huh?

Why would you send a prisoner you've had under HOUSE arrest to be part of the peace keeping force?
Wouldnt muslims be the WORST option as a stabilisation force in the area?
And again, how many times has Khomeni spoken out since this conflict began?
It was irans president who was at thie meeting, not khomeni,

and hezbollah have been saying since day 1, they are prepared, that worldwide cells are preprared, all they need is the GREEN LIGHT from khomeni.

Israel are pushing further and further into the area,
The UN has just demanded IRan cease nuclear research,

Ahmajaden has been doing such a good work at spouting rhetoric,
so why now, does he choose to speak?

I dont like this.
this doesnt fit.

Na, he just gave a speach on July 17th too. Boasting about how Lebanon is a base for Jihad. No biggie, just more Rhetoric IMO.

The conflict however, does have the potential of becoming a "clash of civilizations", but so do all conflicts.

I don't think Iran supporting Lebanon should come as a surprise, it's a given really. Iran helped form Hizb'allah after all.

And Ahmadinejad is not the other president, he is the president. Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei is just that, the supreme leader ie: Ayatollah. He does have the final say and so this speech of his is something nobody should take lightly.

When indeed, their silence so far has been unnerving to say the least.

What is going to happen, when Israel starts displaying capture, or DEAD iranians in the media?

We all know that volunteers are on there way,
theres a large cry regarding the anti ship missle that hit the israeli vessle,

The problem Ahmedinijad has is that he's saying one thing while the reality is another.

What he means is:

"Iran will stand with Hezbollah, who created the problems for Lebanon and are directly responsible for its current suffering."

Or, more accurately

"Iran will fight Israel to the last drop of Lebanese blood."
