Lucky and lucky....

I live 20km from Russian Border, 200km from St Petersburg, my home town was targeted by both Nato and USSR during the cold war (closest full length neutral airfield to the soviet border)

But we do have a law that requires every apartment and public building to have shelter (bomb/NBC), either in the building or at immediate vicinity..

The city is on the ring of fire ... full of earthquakes and tidal waves. It is also next
to the ocean. If they really do have a bunker complex this big I wouldn't want to
be caught down there when the tidal waves start rolling in - tidal waves set off by
the shockwaves from the nukes and the ring of fire.

The bunker is a great idea ... I just wonder about it's location and the WATER that
is absolutely going to inundate the area.

i actually work for a company that does earthwork's
we make road's,house /building/shopping malls, etc
to dig thru solid rock takes some specialst machinery,
you dont gouge out solid rock without it.
it would not go unnoticed.

Of course something on this magnitude will be noticed...
But what's the problem with it being noticed, specially if it's a dual purppose complex?

anyone who tinks they are gona carve a very large room
ouit of solid rock,(u baasicly gonna have a open cut mine in
the middle of your city)or else you got a unique quite borer
to get thru the rock
to be ..... or not to be..............
