ok...i dont know if this is the right place to post this...but i dont care. i was talking to my boss, who is 62, about the days where his parents had to ration, and he brought up how he wouldnt be suprised if we had to do sometype of ration (maybe not ration...but something along those lines...just not raising gas prices)

Well in a way the US government is already doing that as they have over the last few years filled the US strategic reserve to capacity with YOUR money which partly led to the rise of oil prices as this oil 'dissapeared' from the market. So your already paying for rations only problem being that you will have to pay for it again.

well thats true...but i think thats not as powerful as rations...i guess i hope it doesnt happen...and i dont think it will...at least not soon
