Do your lights flicker?

You really should consider re-wiring your electrical throughout the whole house. Bad or old wiring causes lights to flicker. Now I'm no electrician, but this is common knowledge.

Hmmmmmm.. Nope, I don’t think so.

Brainwaves are 4Hz to 100Hz
Florescent lights run 120Hz and up.

Fire your electrician….

I have a background in both EEG and electronics, and I have yet to see anyone be able to create artifact in the electrical equipment that we use, with their brains. Sounds like your ballasts are going bad, as Blaine91555 mentioned. I would also heed FallenFromTheTree’s advice.

All florescent lights flicker, they just do so at a speed that is too high to be noticed by the normal person, it could be that your subconscious is picking up that flicker somehow and exaggerating it. Your brain can distort time, and it can happen with some types of seizure activity, so this could be related to that. Flickering lights can also cause seizures, so the two are defiantly related in that aspect. In order to test what is going on with you, you would need to be hooked up to an EEG and the environment monitored when this occurs.

Edit to add

The reason for the similarity in sensation that sometimes occurs in urination and male orgasm is that you are using the same muscle to control both, the Pubococcygeus muscle.

While I must say that the above posted comments are amongst the most valid I have read, I have already addressed the issue of an electrician. This will be the third time I have repeated myself and stated I have had three independent electricians look over the wiring in my house and nothing is wrong. FurthermoreI also agree with your position on the frequencies of fluorescent light bulbs. However according to every quantum physics book I have ever read, fluorescence has not been fully explained. In fact in the academic community it is considered a theory not a fact. Simply because no person has ever proven how fluorescence works in its entirety.

My only argument to the above statement is that, seeing as how both frequencies are so close to each other; maybe they're intersecting like electromagnetic interference or something like this. I am not an electrical engineer. And I do not claim to know exactly how this is achieved.

For the skeptics: I don't expect you to believe anything I say, all that I ask is that you take my comments at face value and maybe not dismiss them outright.

If you have had any of these experienced please keep posting as I am seriously interested in any occurrences that may have happened to you.

Thanks all

About the brain waves... I'd tend to lean toward more of a spiritual phenomena, making the brain waves frequency thing a non-important factor.

Unless your electricians actually cut the seal to the meter base and opened it for inspection, they
have not looked at every possible cause.

Call your local electric utility and have them check out your meter base.
They can also check for problems in the transformer and cables running to your house.

If nothing else you'll have peace of mind knowing that everything is fine.
