Accept or reject this as you wish. This fella, Robert Scott Wadsworth, is a biblical
astrologer/astronomer. He says that 2047 is the time of the second coming of
Christ. This article does NOT provide any star charts or other info. I would be
interested to see his work. If ya'll want to talk about it we can discuss his work,
and other biblical astrologer/astronomers work, on this thread.

This guy might have a "guess"... but that's all it is.
Nobody will know, or will be able to figure out when this will happen.

Jesus explicitly tells us that.

Mar 13:32 ¶ But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Mar 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

Mar 13:34 [For the Son of man is] as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Mar 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Oh marko... I wasn't counting on it. It's just a 'thing' to talk about.
Frankly, I don't think 'biblical' and 'astrology' go together. I'm sure some
will disagree with me and point to the Three Kings who were also astrologers
and who followed the new star to the Christ Child ... but in modern Christianity
'biblical' and 'astrology' don't usually mix. It's a big 'no-no' for Christians.

This fella seems to think it DOES mix. Just thought I'd present it here in the
prophecy forum for whoever is interested - because I hadn't seen it discussed
here before.

I agree with Marko,no one knows except for God.I don,t know how many times I've heard of the end of the world/2nd coming prophecies in the past.They all proved to be false.It states in the bible the end comes "like a thief in the night".So anyone who tries to say they know when is full of it!!:

It IS an interesting topic though.
It's interesting to see WHY & HOW people come up their "findings" concerning the 2nd coming.

Question: Why is astrology a "no-no" for Christians and why aren't the two compatible?
Obviously, I'm not Christian or I'd know why, but I'm just curious.

that Wadsworth fashions himself a Biblical Astronomer
not an Astrologer.

i actually think he's got something that has some foundation to it.

his viewpoint is hardly unique tho,
fer instance the guy on Coast2Coast last night, @ hoague prophecy.com
also leans towards the repeating or cyclical nature of events,
and thru time conditions will arise that generally follow a pattern....

he notes that Nostradamus used these recurring cycles in his quatrains
but M. Nostradamus correlated these cycles/periods with the astrological
progressions.
such as this current period of time, when both Mars & Saturn are in a
'firery' sign of the zodiac (in this 2004-2007 period its Leo)
then M. Nostradamus fortells that violence, conflicts, etc will crescendo
~~then it's even possible that one quatrain of his has fortold that the present
(black hats/masks=Hezbollah)fighters among other combatants in Mesopotamia
(iraq) will eventually humble the (eagle forces=USA) presence in M.E. &
Mesopotamia in operations from 2004-2006(summer & fall)-2007(next summer)

Wadsworth, is kinda attempting something similar imo.
but biblical prophecies are 'event' related, so his 'window' for a 2047 date
requires that all the unfulfilled end-times prophecies of the old & new testaments
must occur, so that the 'Last Trumpet' can sound...
i personally think he too, will fashion ongoing events into prophetic fufillment
on a day-to-day reporting style, in the same vein as the faithfull believers
conduct their lives and choices (either subliminally or unconsciously)
in a manner that Biblical-prophecy may become realized....self-fufilling prophecy,

Its his life, but Wadsworth may want to augment this advocation with another
money making enterprise...like maybe another 'grey-hound Rescue' society,
that kind of altruistic mission would go hand-in-glove with their Biblical-Astronomy
mission...

it covers the major points from 3961 BCE thru 2047 CE (messiah returned)

all intertwined with the Hebrew Lunar calendar &/or fundamentalist Christian timeline
