Hi all this is my first post here. I have just finished watching the Kevin Sites in the hot zone (many vids) covering the Israeli attacks in Lebannon. During the clearing of the rubble kevin noticed a doctor he knew and began talking to him. The doctor said to him " I hate America and I will fight agianst them," and this struck me as odd, very odd seeing that it was Israeli bombs that killed these people, not American bombs. I thought to myself that this was guilt over the Beirut marine barracks bombing in 83, and that this individual doctor felt that somehow America was exacting revenge. If he, as a doctor believes this, then what does the non profesional population believe? My question is do you think this will lead to greater terrorism in the U.S. and if so, why?

Ok I noticed that many of you on the board is from the UK (go figure) so let me rephrase the question, do you think this will lead to greater terrorism in the UK and the U.S. and those that support occupation in Iraq? (BTW Michael Bisping kicked some major arse and is one of the best fighters I have seen in a long time cheers)

Yes, but most people think and live with the idea, that the US and Israel are "ONE", everyone knows that the US is being controlled by Jews, some people might think, that the wars in Afghanistan and Irak were only preperation, for a change of power in the Middle East, regarding Israel, don't you think?

The arrogant way Israel is bombing Lebannon is not the right choice, especially when we talk about civil casualties. I personally hated Sharon, but i understand that he had at least a mind.

To anwer you question: No, there will be NO terrorist attacks in the US or UK, they will be concentrated in Israel and their allies in that region.

Your question is very odd and holds no relevance to your initial post. Please link to your sources, because we would like to see what the entire conversation was about.

You believe because you stated a doctor said that "I hate America and I will fight against them," that this is going to lead to greater terrorism in the US and UK?

The U.S. is being controlled by Jews? Thats news to me. I was under the impression the Senate and corporate power controlled the US. I supposed all the corporations are controlled by Jews as well?

No actually I don't because of the facts.

Fact #1 - Iraq is sitting on the 2nd largest oil reserve on the planet and the U.S. is the largest consumer... i.e makes sense that we are there.

Fact #2 - As soon as we moved into Afghanistan we began building the Trans Afghan pipeline.

Stability for Israel was a sidedish IMHO that people like Wolfowitz and the dark prince have been pushing for years.

I agree Israel is going overboard with the attacks, however Lebanon, the prime minister, and mohafazah have no control over Hezbollah, the party of God. When you cannot control your militia groups the Super Power will control them for you - the civilians always pay the price. I blame Hezbollah's continuous campaign to destroy the Jews and destabilize the entire region. Look what they have done in Palestine along with Hamas!! They created a generation of people who believe it's ok to blow up kids in busses and their government rewards the citizens to do it! This of course is no excuse to bomb civilians in Lebanon.

Sounds like you know this personally, I don't believe terrorist attacks are going to help Islam at all.

In short - yes.

The US has supplied the bombs and given Isreal a green light for its disproportionate response. without this political, financial and military support Isreal would have no support at all for its disgaceful acts.

The UK is implicated too, through our craven cur of a PM. He's swallowed and repeated the GWB line, failed to condemn the Israeli nazi campaign and allowed the US to use our airspace / airports for its munitions flights to Israel.

The Israeli action has hardened and united muslim opinion (the support of AQ for Hezb'allah etc etc) and will, I'm afraid pay the price in dead commuters, hijacked aircraft etc etc.

As someone in the front-line in London I hope it doesn't happen but I'm sure it will and it's difficult to argue we don't deserve it.

Yep, Israel is bombing Lebanon with US supported bombs and Hezbollah and Hamas are shooting missles into Israel with Iranian ande Syrian supported bombs and missles.


Hezbollah started this fight period. If Lebanon does not like that the person fighting back because they threw the first blow.(Hezbollah milita in Lebonon that is suppose to be disarmed by UN mandate.) If you punch someone and they hit you beside the head with a lead pipe, and you cry. Then don't throw the punch in the first place.

Israel has a right to defend there country, and if Lebanon does not want to get the UN mandated disarmed Hezbollah militia out of there country then Israel will do its part to get push them back away so they will not continue to fire missles into Israel.

For the Italian talks to cease fire Bush dispatched Paul Wolfowitz to the gathering in Rome, just to rub against the Lebanese Prime minister.

And yes I saw in the news the Angry Lebanese people rally outside of the US embassy screaming the death of America.

If it's fair for Israel and the US to hold Iran and Syria responsible for Hezbollah's attacks, why is it surprising that the Lebanese hold the US responsible for Israel's?

After all, our argument is that Iran and Syria supply weapons and money to Hezbollah and thus have the power to stop them.

We supply money and weapons to the Israelis, and we could get them to stop if we seriously wanted to. Couldn't we?

Because if we can't, we shouldn't be giving them squat...
