I could post my discussed at Israel ATS to the cows come in . I will be actively protesting synagogues in my local area with posters, someone has to take a stand for the innocent women and children.


Any ideas for my protest posters ?

Israel didn't start this war. Terrorist purposely set up commands in populated areas. Israel is doing what it must, but it does not purposely attack civilian targets. Boycott Israel if you must, but I doubt that you're going to get much in the way of general support. Besides, I'm not sure that I buy anything that is manufactured in Israel. Post a list and I'll see if I can buy a few items.

The biggest thing, will be to economically strave Isreal, but the way the financial system work, they probably profit from anything that goes on, good or bad.

If someone was starting a "stock" free of Isreal interest, where you could invest in, perhaps, but until then ?

First of all, it would only hurt the people, not the government. Secondly, I have absolutely no clue on anything that I even buy from Israel.

Although the death off innocent people and children are appalling, Israel did not start this Hezbulla did, if Hezbulla had any decent bone in their body they would disarm anf Let The lebanease Gov take full control off their country, will that happen no, they will just hide behind innocent children and woman and let them be killed, At least Israel apologised for killing these children and woman, have hezbulla ever apologised for killing innocent Isralies no they have not..

Alot of people in here need to recognize this.

And Yes Israel is at fault for bombing the building in the first place, Hezbulla are at fault for starting this Conflict in the first place...

Both sides are at fault, it is always the innocent women and children who suffer as a result...

Forgot to add I will not protest to Israel and I think alot of people on this Forum will feel the same way.

Dude - be careful! I was sightseeing downtown and was snappin' pics near the Holy Blossom Temple on Avenue Road - two goons came up and started interrogating me... said they were "security" - the one with the "permission to talk" had a Southern-twang Arkansas or maybe south - if figure "Blackwater", hired-spetznatz or something similar.

They wanted my good camera - FTA - This here is Canada sonny. I speed dialed my RCMP buddy at the US Embassy and sent him their pics I snapped with my phone. They hurried away in a blacked-out Suburban with red diplo-tags.

Be careful! Me, I'm gonna cut a cheque to the Lebanese-Canadian Association and NOT claim it on my taxes then pop next door to my Member of Parliament and discuss his future in the 'hood.

While I don't have the..will to go protest with signs and such,
I agree with Helium3's idea.

I would be interested to see a list of goods that is made,
or supports Israel and some way, in that way I could make
sure not to buy them, and even if that does'nt matter,
it will still make me feel like I'm doing something, even if it
is a small something.

Go for it...I find anyone protesting with billboards infront of synagogues quite amusing.

What about the Women and Children in Israel? Are they not innocent too? It always amazes me how we sit over here in our recliners and decide who is right and who is wrong from what we see or hear from media.This is not a football game,it's real life.Think before you condemn a whole race of people just because you may not like them. If you pay attention the people who Israel is attacking is the same people who want them annialated and proudly say so.They also live in a free country,and are protecting that right.
Hot-headed judgement is not how to handle this.

Innocent people on both sides are being killed so why Jjust protest against Israel. Agrees more people are being killed in Lebanon, but at the same time Israelies are being Killed also.

Why not protest against Hezbulla also?????

Maybe all products from Israel should have a little sticker on them so we know.

Actually, that's a good idea, not just for Israeli products,
but if we put little label/pictures on all our stuff produced
outside the country, than people cpuld buy products from
there country of choice.
Or, make sure not to buy products from a certain country,
as the original ideotype(idea+archotype=ideotype) orignates from.

I can't upload graphics from my current location (text only) but you will find the first 3 digits of the Universal Product Code (UPC) barcode that indicate an Israel produced item to be 7 2 9. If you want, check any post by ThePieMan, I believe he has a graphic as a signature that shows the barcode.

I think your a nut. What do you buy in Israel? Israel sells America, the gov, high tech industry, not to mention that if Israel did loose money, they get it back from our gov. Boycott all you want it won't do anything and no one will listen to you if you continue to spout one sided rants on Israel. Israel murdered 56 people, along with 500 others, but Hezbollah did in fact start this conflict. If you feel so much hatred to the Jews and ohhh yes I say JEWS because you admit you'll protest at the Jewish temple of worship. Disgusting to bother innocent people at a temple. If you feel so about the Israelis, go fight em, go express your hate, go side with their enemy. The people of southern Lebannon are well aware, and have been aware for at least two weeks that the Isrealis were going to engage. Only the truly stupid and martyrdom driven would stay in a warzone, and the people of Lebannon, knowing full well that the tactics of Hezzbolah are to use civilians as shields, should qualify at this time for the Darwin Award for mass stupidity. If they continue to allow this 'Party of Cowards' Hezzbolah to run their country then they certainly do not deserve to continue owning that country.
