I am fairly new here and just recently learned how to link to an article on another site thanks to this forum, now I'm back with another question. What is the easiest way to link to another post, say in a different forum? I'll go ahead and say thanks ahead of time because theres always someone in here helpful enough to take a few minutes and answer.

When writing a post there are a set of buttons. Click this button
and then paste the URL into the field.

Is it the "single" post link you are referring to?

If so, You can copy the link location of the word "single".
There is a single post link at the top center of each post. Where the time stamp is.

Is that what you mean?

If you mean link to a post within a thread, you can copy the URL of the thread in question, then add "#pid" and the post id number of the post you want to the end of the URL.

e.g. The URL for this thread is:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

The direct link to Umbrax's post above would be:

www.abovetopsecret.com...
