I see, by some members posts or threads, that blue flashing light, what does that signify?

It signifies an alert - something that requires immediate attention. It is grossly overused. The boy who cried wolf has become the boy who posted with
a blue strobe.
Either that or it's a funky disco light.

Thanks, I like the way you put it. I can see why you say it is grossly overused.
Started a thread earlier and someone posted with a blue light in there post, why (?), beats me, surely nothing in that thread needs immediate
attention.
