Hey BTS fellows,

The latest Survey shows a "high level of education"

SkepticOverlord:...showing a high level of education that in past surveys. 1,691 respondents (72%) indicate they are either in college, or have graduated with degrees as high as Doctorate (3%). Past surveys of members have shown a reasonably impressive number of college-eduated users, but the responses to this question indicate an even high level of education.

I wonder what do you do in the "real" life, I mean how do you earn your money with your learned/earned education?
What line are you in?

I studied animal care and welfare for 3 years and at the moment I'm a comment-line operator for the national radio station. Oh, and I'm studying Forensic Psychology in starting in October.

Bachelor of Arts and all I got was a low-wage job. Did anyone else see Oprah today on low paid work. Things like EMT's, nurse's aides, teacher's aides - all making minimum wage.

I worked in market research after graduating, everything's contract, stint at amnesty international. Lots of very interesting and fulfilling jobs if you don't want to be paid.

Now I'm after a TESL certificate, so when my last child flies the roost so can I. The U.A.E. is hiring and they pay exhorbitant tax-free, accomodation and airfare included salaries. Only now the region is plunged into war. I'm thinking maybe China, if they'll have me - but global warming puts them underwater. So it might be South America.

Anywhere but North America, where being poor is the only crime.
