Saudi Arabia's king has warned the current crisis between Lebanon, the Palestinians and Israel could spark a full-scale Middle East war.

King Abdullah has also pledged $500m to rebuild Lebanon and $250m to help the Palestinians.

King Abdullah is restating the words spoken by many in the Middle East that, these "fires" could launch into full scale war in the Middle East.

For this to happen, some will tell you that Israel will have to strike against Syria or Iran (which is very hard to determind and unlikely at this moment in time)

(But i have notice, that the media isn't focusing on the Middle East too much)

yes... quite odd that. I have noticed this. Isnt Murdoch a zionist? He owns every satelite bar one? (<- not 100% sure of that, but know he owns the bulk of the media)

So, the attrocities met out to the Lebanese people by the political zionists are censored or played down because one of their own just happens to own the media.

wow...this propaganda is just too easy!!!

But in the war of words, no newspaper has been so happy to hand the keys of the armoury over to one side than The Times, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch's News International. Murdoch is a close friend of Ariel Sharon, Israel's prime minister.

Knowing these details, and that Murdoch has invested heavily in Israel, The Times' foreign editor and other middle managers flew into hysterical terror every time a pro-Israel lobbying group wrote in with a quibble or complaint, and then usually took their side against their own correspondent -- deleting words and phrases from the lexicon to rob its reporters of the ability to make sense of what was going on.

The above is from an islamic site...

And below is independent source:

Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation, which owns Fox Television Network, 20th Century Fox Films, and Fox 2000, is the fifth largest megamedia corporation in the country, with 1997 revenues of over $11 billion. It is the only other media company which comes even close to the top four. Murdoch is a Gentile Australian, but Peter Chernin, who is president and CEO of Fox Group, which includes all of News Corporation's film, television, and publishing operations in the United States, is a Jew.

Under Chernin, as president of 20th Century Fox, is Laura Ziskin, a Jewess who formerly headed Fox 2000. Jew Peter Roth works under Chernin as president of Fox Entertainment. News Corporation also owns the New York Post and TV Guide, and they are published under Chernin's supervision. Murdoch told Newsweek magazine (July 12, 1999 that he would probably elevate Chernin to CEO of News Corporation, rather than allow the company to fall into the hands of his own children, none of whom are younger than their late twenties.

It is hard to imagine a Jew giving a major media corporation to a Gentile underling when he has children waiting in the wings. For his part, Chernin was quite candid. "I get to control moves seen all over the world... what could be more fun?"

Whats your point. If you watch Sky News, which is owned by Fox and Murdoch, you will see that it has been by far the most balanced of the news corporations, even more so than the BBC which is anti-israel.

Just because you are freinds with some Zionist, this doesn't mean he shares the same views or wholeheartedly accepts manipulating the news coverage. Theres only so much he can do, he's not the editor, and he can't control thousands of employees who have their own opinions and ultimately dictate the interviews, video reports etc

Fox and Sky are not fair at all in my mind, and I am a conservative. With the on going problem in the ME right now, I think the CNN news channel is doing the best right now. I like to flip between the major news outlets so one channels propaganda doesn't get to me. CNN has been fair to Israel that the war was needed but goes into Lebanon to show Israels destruction, some times to innocent civilians in apartment buildings or shops. I do not have BBC to watch sooo... no opinion on them being "anti-Israel"

EDIT: Just like to add that the King is a cheap bastard, offering 500m to the death and destruction when he pays out ungodly amounts of money to his over extended family with the BILLIONS he makes off oil and our stock market. He just doesn't want to upset the market as it might effect poor poor Saudi.
