BES upgrade Help!!!

Okay, here's the sitchiation.

We were running BES 3.6 and have since Upgraded to BES 4.1. At the time of upgrade, everyone started going through wireless enterprise activation. The problem is that some people have completely halted their progress, and have been hung up on a certain varying percent completed for a few hours now.

1. SHould this be expected?
2. How long will it last?
3. How do I bend over and kiss my @$$ goodbye when my CEO finds out he's stuck in Italy without BB data?

Thanks MakeItSo, that actually did help. I was concerned with haulting wireless synchs. Turns out it was because upon activation of the new BES, everyone in the company's blackberry started synching at the same time. Those with smaller amounts of data went quickly, while large amounts are actually still synching. Some users have in excess of 8,000 calendar entries and 10,000 contacts.
