what ever happened to "diversity of opinion!"

ive noticed when a topic like 9/11 is posted on over and over again nobody seems to care. but if its something a little different like say the north korea missle tests, if someone makes more than one thread on that, the moderaters are all like
"there is no need for another thread on this topic."

my question is, is there somekind of dicrimination towards diversity of opinion in ats??? ive noticed it before. has anyone else??
