That is possible, but the reality is much simpler.
The terrorist group Hezbollah shoots guns and rockets into Israel all the time, and yes, before this response from Israel.
What happened was that the Hezbollah terrorists poked the bear (Israel) one time too many and got a big bear paw across the face.
That is the "game" that is being played!

I've been wondering....
In a past thread, someone made mention that the current offensive by the IDF was planned more than a year ago.

It didn't surface in any other thread but is there anybody here that believe that the current attack that IDF might just be a rehearsal or a ''real-time wargame'' in preparation of a larger conflict involving Syria and Iran..?
A way to test strategy, tactics and weapon systems with live targets.
Alot of people are asking why the IDF response to the kidnapping is so disproportionate.That might be a logic answer....
