Okay, maybe it's like an instinct, like to drink.
I've tried:
breathing
breathe
instinct
natural
thinking

Any thoughts?

I think it should complete the sentence, so
To humans [Perserverance]
To humans [longer life expectancy]
To humans [great tasting beer]

but that's just my two cents

"Ellipsis Έλλειψις (plural: ellipses ελλείψεις, Greek for omission) in linguistics refers to any omitted part of speech that is understood; i.e. the omission is intentional. Analogously, in printing and writing, the term refers to the row of three spaced dots( . . . ) or asterisks (* * *) indicating such an intentional omission. This punctuation mark is also called a suspension point, points of ellipsis or colloquially, dot-dot-dot.

An ellipsis can also be used to indicate a pause in speech, an unfinished thought or, at the end of a sentence, a trailing off into silence. Ellipses are sometimes used in this manner for internet chat, email, and forum posts"

Well, I'm still here driving everyone in the office nuts asking them the questions. I think they may have figured out I'm not working.

I've entered so many things I think I'm entering them for the second time. The three dots thing eluded me. Thanks for the heads up.

I've been trying, but like the last question, there's not really much to go with. I think this is even worse than the last question. Anything can relate to humans...!!
