Done through 350 now...and was really hoping I'd hop back on the thread and someone would have found the answer...My fingers are getting tired. Like many I have been at this for three days now.

Oh well, not much left for me now...I will check in (if my fingers still work) when I get to 500...

Why is there a blank line in the middle of the clue?
Was something removed?
Were we progressing too rapidly?
That space is bugging me...

Just a thought -
What if it is refering to the number of visitors to the game site and will not proceed until enough people have gotten involved or visited the site?

There is no capitalization or punctuation...until the fine print. Then everything is grammatically correct...

Well guys and gals, I did my 1-500 as promised and came up with squat (I guess I expected that)

Now I'm gonna take a break and get some work done...

Good luck to all, I will check in quickly to see where we are over the next few days, but will not have a lot of free time to contribute, i'm afraid.

Keep up the good work

Okay gang...i'm outta my class and free to go for many more hours of brain cramping fun

Looks like we are still on the the same one...does anyone, long time members especially, know what time of day ATS is most active...aka the highest traffic count on the day.

Even the code suggests that there may have been something there. All the rest of the pages are left aligned, but look at this one. It's kind of indented or looks hastily editted where there would have been text for that line...

Off topic, but relevant to the paranoid.....

This is how you cheat at "I Spy". You think of your word, then you think of loads more words beginning with your letter. When someone guesses one of your words, you say "No", because you have many more in reserve.

The questions here could have multiple answers. They activate one of their choosing at a time of their choosing or release it through the proxy id's.

The game has a purpose for the originator. How do you ensure it runs for long enough if you aren't in control of the length of the game? The game will not be solved before it's supposed to.

[edit on 24/7/06 by Prote]

Here we go..
So, based on this theory, what if, it doesn't really matter what we're putting in right now because
they want to keep the game going for a certain time. Then, when they're ready to continue, they choose one of the phrases that would make sense as a response (just like "idontwanttowait"), which none has tried yet.

on a different note, has anyone thought about how practical the end result of this will be. How can a reward or set of prizes be distributed to an individual(s) when there will be 50+ of us working to get the very last answer at the same time.

I'm not suggesting to stop the whole cooperation thing...but ATS had to have seen this coming...so it just makes me wonder about the natue of "the reward to the worthy one"
