The Middle East Conflict Forum has been added to provide a dedicated format to discuss the ongoing events in that region. Please note that the
operative word is
discuss. ATS, and it’s sister boards BTS/PTS are for
civil discussion, and the exchange of ideas. There is no doubt
that this forum is a magnet for spirited, if not heated discussion… The
Terms & Conditions
Of Use still apply. The Middle East Conflict Forum will encompass a unique mix of politics, religion, and warfare there will be certain topics
that will polarizing, and will generate decidedly different points of view, civility must be maintained. Because many new members are posting only in
this forum (they’ll come around and find out how great the rest of ATS s
), a few specific reminders will be given.
Graphic Images. This is specifically covered in the
Terms & Conditions Of Use.
ATS Terms & Conditions
1a) Offensive Content: You will not post links to images or use avatars and signatures that are offensive, abusive, disruptive and/or hateful.
You will not use images, avatars or link to domains that contain gore, mutilation, pornography or illegal content.
No matter how tempting it is to bolster your argument by posting a picture of a dead child (or any other graphic portrayal) don’t do it. The ATS
family of discussion boards is intended for
all audiences.
Profanity and the Circumvention of Censors. Covered in the Terms & Conditions Of Use as well, and also
here.
ATS Terms & Conditions
1b.) Profanity: You will not use profanity in our forums, and will neither post with language or content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or
sexually suggestive nor link to sites that contain such content.
Once again, topics may get heated, but the use of profanity, and/or the circumvention of censors won’t be tolerated.
Hateful Speech. Calling for the annihilation of a religion, or an entire country is beyond the pale, and the epitome of ignorance.
Personal Attacks. Personal attacks are never tolerated on any of ATS’s discussion boards. Our success is directly linked to this policy. No
poster should ever feel intimidated or under duress from other member(s). ATS wants to be as inclusive as possible, to have as many points of view,
and to draw upon the entire world for opinions and insight. This may mean that some posters will not use English as a first language, they are young,
or unfamiliar with discussion board dynamics. We expect understanding in these situations, not insults.
ATS Terms & Conditions
2) Behavior: You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack anyone.
Solicitation and Recruitment. Petitions, calls for marches, gatherings, or any other organized events is not allowed on the ATS family of
discussion boards. This subject is covered in detail
here.
ATS Terms & Conditions
1e.) Recruitment Content: You will not post advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations of any kind. You will not collect
personal information about forum members for the purpose of sending advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations through other
means (email, messaging programs, etc.).
If you feel that a particular post, thread, or other action by a member violates the
Terms &
Conditions Of Use, please contact the Staff by utilizing the

Thanks, and “Deny Ignorance.”
