Pretty cool article (except where they say our demise due to meteor is inevitable :lol


I've read that there is lots of glass that can only me made in rediculously high temperatures in the Sahara. Some people (Zecheria Sitchin and others) claim it was from an ancient nuclear war. But a Sahara version on the Tungusken event seems much more likely. In fact, I bet if a meteor did strike the earth, because of the constant shifting sands, it'd be covered up quite quickly.
