System Administrators should cry today

Micro$oft announced that it has Acquired Winternals Software. One of the few developers of software that is actually helpful to maintain, troubleshoot, and recover from Windows problems has been swallowed up by the corporate giant.

I would have never guessed that Mark could allow this to happen.

It is a sad day to me.

Might still be time to download Sysinternals wares from download sites....

I suppose that just follows their practice of not actually developing useful utilities and apps, but buying them and integrating them into the mess that is Windows.

That's why I work with Ubuntu. Less harsh on the hardware.
Open source made at the expense of the same rich guy who go tthe Russians to bring him into outer space.

Microsoft are the software borg. Resistance is futile... What did you expect really? That they would just sit down and watch with all that cash amount they got?
