Theres a base in Brooklyn in the Bay Ridge area known as Fort Hamilton.

Yeah its an old base. Constructed over the original Fort. Theres another one opposite it on the Staten Island side of the bridge. As a kid we used to sneak into the base and explore. Doubt theres anything secretive there but you never know.

i live in a place called gerritsen beach[in brooklyn] and if you look at it on a map there is an navy airfield just north of us called floyd bennet field so its pretty common to see planes and helicopters flying around
