Don't you think hollywood could play a part in this war...

we all know how much propaganda we get thrown at us everyday. one good example was rocky 4 and the cold war. propaganda can be a great tool to break down divides.

would it not be in the interests of israel and islamic groups to have similar films to the above. conditioning probably is being used in the other way, and pushing these sides apart, but if they wanted peace would they not be pushing good propaganda.

how about films, gloryfying islam and americans working together or being on same sides in wars, or is often the case in propganda in sports.

any thoughts on what hollywood could do in these things.

Hollywood will put out movies that sell tickets or that they think will sell tickets.

If you really want to find ways to bring the two sides together, look to educating the young. There are some fine charities that send Israeli and Palestinians to camp together so they can learn to play together at an early age.

Yup. We could call it The Road to Jerusalem after the old Bing Crosby and Bob Hope series including the Road to Mandalay and so on. then we could have endless sequels. Like Godfather. Like Supermen and SM2. We could make more money that Dan Brown.
