It's all so very simple to understand. Really it is. Let's look at it this way:

If hezbollah, hamas, syria and iran were to lay down their weapons, peace would break out almost immediately.

But if Israel were to lay down it's arms, the Jews would be slaughtered.

Now don't you finally see where the real problems in the ME are coming from?
