Ever heard about time zones? Probably someone on the opposite side of the earth who got the wrong number.

Once my friend got a call on his cell phone when we were working together. He answered, and heard his radio playing on the line. His radio was in another room.We went to that room, no one was around, but my cell phone, in my toolbox next to the radio, somehow called my friend all by itself.

yeah, that was my first thought but my phone list call times and dates in it's log according to my local settings. If someone did call from another time zone regardless of the time there, It will ID as to its current time and date which were correct at the time. Just as an update, nothing happened that I know of and I have gotten no further calls. It probably was and might have been a switch error or fluke but I just thought it peculiar.

Maybe the solar flares are interacting with the space time continuum...

I work for a major cell phone company and i wouldnt sweat it there are all kinds of quarks in the systems across the U.S. and around the world.

But having to have nextells and cell phones for business...
I have had some strange problems - only in the last few months. And the air is differnent here. I like it, it feels good, but something is changing and it's not just the winter comming on.
I think we're comming into an active time again. Or one of those times where the bad seem to start their ruccus and get bothersome. Happens every now and again. Don't know why.
The last time this 'air' was about, I believe it was back in April. Strange thing is - all the other 'sensative' people I know had a bad month, couldn't pick up on things ect. For me it was the opposite. But I seem to be opposite of most people in alot of ways.

As a rule, i generally would not be concerned about such an event either because I have family that work on cell towers and such and they have told me stranger things than that. Fact is, when you use radio frequency to transmit, you're shooting a great deal into the unknown. Many facets of this phenom are still unknown.

However, the feeling that you speak of is the reason this incident stands out to me. My cell was still on the hanger in my vehicle, in the garage. I had just come down to feed the dogs and had just walked by when, for no reason at all, my eye was drawn to look inside my truck right at the phone for a second before it began ringing. I usually don't answer "private" calls as a rule but I couldn't fight the urge to answer this one. It was weird, almost like ...just weird...

I was supposed to be up by 5:45 and overslept until 6:10


Derr ... ur future self was trying to wake u up on time, but obviously messed up and called a day early

Dunno why no one else picked up on that one

I find myself in a hurry recently. A very calm hurry if that makes sence. Like a squirrly trying to store nuts for the winter.

I've been storing food for no apperent reason in "bomb-proof" boxes.

LOL - both my freezers are now cram packed and I have about 20 packages of toilet paper in the back. I rationalize that they wre all sale items and winter IS coming ~

I know what you're talking about. I've recently been prompted to uproot my family and move into the country where I'm not dependant on water from a treatment plant. I had this urge to do it but seem to be content and patient in the timeline to do so. Once I knew I had to do it, everything has fallen into place quickly. I even left a promising career but have lucked into another near the rural area I where I will make my new home. After the struggle I've had getting to this point, I never thought I'd leave it but this feeling leaves no room for doubt and I haven't second guessed the decision once.

Same here, astrocreep. I now live in a town of 1500 people, for the sake of my daughter. We are on the city water, but have a well on the property

This is where my kids need to be, and you just can't deny it when that "knowing" hits you.

I've been concerned with the water under us.
Like being afraid of an earthquack. I've not been the kind to be worried about stuff like that. But I've been thinking about it.

a telemarketer... isn't it just like them to find some loophole?

What were you doing at the moment that you received the call? Or what were you intending on doing?

Perhaps the call was to warn you, if by only stopping you, about something that could have affected you from that point forward.

Strange things happen for strange reasons.

This could very well destroy the space-time continuum! Or your cell phone could just be kinda screwed up.
