The leaders of Italy and Greece have been replaced with technocrats.
Bankers, ecconomists and accademics.
Can the un-elceted governments get these countries throught this ecconomic
crisis? If it were just a purely theoretics exercise i would say they would know
what to do. but givern the fact that the changes which the are to implement
are going to have to be drastic, and affect lots of people, i would say these
people will not have the support of the people or the leadership skills to get the
people throught. governance is not just numbers and trying to figgure out were
cuts should be made. It is a horrible mistake to take peoples vote away when they
already feel powerless. Verry rarely is revolution the best option, but for the people
of these countries it is their best hope.
