New but only kinda

Good day,
I have been around the boards for a wee bit now but just started to post recently and skipped over this area completely. I read the military threads mostly weaponry and air craft and also have a bit of a soft spot for cryptozoology.

As of current I am sitting around waiting as a good member of the U.S. Air Force’s “Delayed Enlistment Program” or DEP would do. No shipment date yet. I scored well enough on the ASVABS to get the one of the jobs I want which will hopefully be Tactical Aerospace Maintenance (crew chief of a combat aircraft). Sad thing about scoring that well means I get to sit around till they find space for me which could be August or any of the following months.
