North Korea Rejects U.N. vote, page 1

Earlier today the U.N. Council was holding a meeting and decided a resolution on North Korea recent acts with missile testing. The U.S. Ambassador said today that there has be a condemning on the North Korean missile testing. Following the recent vote, North Korean Ambassador Pak Gil Yon, informs the U.N. that North Korea will not stand from their current progress.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) -
North Korea "totally rejects" the
U.N. Security Council resolution condemning its recent series of missile tests, its U.N. ambassador said on Saturday.

"It is clear to everyone that there is no need for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to unilaterally put on hold the missile launches under such a situation," Ambassador Pak Gil Yon told the council following the vote, using his country's formal name.

The measure had "the despicable aim of isolating and putting pressure" on his government, he said. "The DPRK's missile development therefore serves as a key to keep the balance of force and preserving peace and stability in Northeast Asia."

The Korean People's Army "will go on with missile launch exercises as part of its efforts to bolster deterrent for self-defense in the future, too," he said.

U.N. Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution on Saturday imposing weapons-related sanctions on
North Korea and condemning Pyongyang's flurry of missile tests on July 5.

North Korea immediately rejected the resolution. Its U.N. Ambassador Pak Gil Yon said Pyongyang's missile development served "to keep the balance of force and preserving peace and stability in Northeast Asia."

What now for all the Japanese, unrest will still continue, the future of any diplomatic relationships with North Korea are far off. The NK government will continue to fire and test their missiles. In the event, who should be mad at whom, North Korea feels they have a right to launch and test missiles and this is well thought of them to fire into the sea and not towards the south.

Now with North Korea going to deny all sanctions on missile testing, to be stopped or postponed. All now that is going is the U.N. pressing on the North Korean to stop. Slowly this is turning into heated tension that no one wants North Korea in right now. The North Korean leaders lean on to blame the U.N. for allowing multiple other unsanctioned acts to happen. The North Korean are furious with the dealings from the current U.N. vote.
