Assad speaks for the first time since the Irsraeli conflict has begun and is pledging its resources to help Lebanon / Hezbollah cope with the Israeli
Syria will put its resources at the disposal of Lebanon to help cope with Israeli attacks devastating the country, Syrian President Bashar
al-Assad told Lebanese President Emile Lahoud by phone on Saturday.
The “type” of resources do not appear in any articles, yet, however this seems ominously as the prelude to much greater escalation. The resources
were stated to help cope with attacks, sound precariously like military resources and an ease into full support.
