Skyguard Laser is here now!

The time has come. Laser's will now change battle space. With this defensive system most other countries militaries are going to be useless. Terrorists will no longer be able to operate and attack with stand off weapons.

That's not the case. Your source says that THEL has an effective range of about 5km and by implication 5km altitude - lower at the edge of it's range envelope. North Korean ballistic missiles would just pass straight over it.


THEL is an excellent point defense system but until they can get much better range and all-weather capability it is still some way off making conventional weapons obsolete.
