Ok so ive had an issue with the search function for a while....little over a year!


So im trying to find all my posts, so i put my member id in PERFECTLY and it cant find a single post, not one.


Im trying to find my post in bts about some music.

So what is UP with the search function!

It just doesn't work!

what you could do is click on your username in your profile.

That gives you a listing of posts you have authored.

Ah, the cursed ATS search engine, I’ve been here for two years and I still don't know how to use the damned thing.
I don't use it too often and when I have I have to find something I’ve always used the Goggle ATS search, much more easier.

Yeah, the ATS search function is not perfect. It has it's uses, but I think that the tradeoff between fast searching, and accurate results was won out by the fast searching part of it.

Must be a real pain in the backside to try to code something like that, and have perfect results. Personally, I think S.O. may have given up the battle, and hence the reason for the embedded Google search function.


But as kurtcobainuk was looking for his posts specifically, the method I showed him was probably the fastest way to the desired results.
