Nice find.
Don't know exactly how to interpt those photos but they do seem to need futher study. Especially since those photo's are near the polar regions. They do seem to indicate some elevated material, of what is the big question?

untampered except they use very low resolution photos to try to "prove" life on mars. That website has been discussed many times on here, and it's a bunch of hooey.

The pictures are amazing in the fact that they haven't been tampered with, however we have been stuck on Mars having beings alive or dead on it since forever. To finally solve this mystery once and for all, we need to send a manned space flight to the red planet. I vote for Stephen Hawking to lay out the mathematics needed to get us there and back.

Your joking right, do you think we will have up to the minute info on what they see and do?
You think they will be totally honest with everything that happens?
Why are you on ATS?
To seek the truth away from mainstream right?

Dont expect the truth.

The only semi-plausible indication of life on Mars might be the elevated levels of methane, however, even that may be the result of natural chemical processes. So at this point there is no convincing evidence of live anywhere other than here on Earth. So get it while it's hot.

If I can see my apartment building using google earth, then why can't we have what ever satellite google uses, in orbit around mars to see what's on the surface?Just my 2 cents.

Papoose,

That satelitte is in orbit around mars now!
MRO, (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter)

It Will resolve surface features down to the size of a beachaball.
Check out the Mission page: marsprogram.jpl.nasa.gov...

The spacecraft is now adjusting it's orbit by aerobraking...later this year, when the orbit is circular...We will begin getting a daily Global shot of the planet..As well as those Hi-resolution pics we are all waiting for..

Richard Hoagland has already discovered 27 new Martian monuments/buildings/outhouses in the test photos. I can't wait to see what he comes up with as newer stuff comes in.

As a side question, it's funny that we can see such high-resolution shots of Earth and Mars, but our own Moon stays relatively "out of focus." The aliens on the Moon don't like us taking pictures of them.

Won't it just have a mysterious crash or lost of contact just before it gets ready to take those photo's? Mars is still a good candidate for more exploration.

frankly its quite obvious wether or not our mars photography improves our governmenst disclosure of information will probably decline even further. Life on mars? perhaps. Have intelligent life forms been there? IMO undoubtably.
