Well once I stopped laughing over the incredible intro I really got into the podcast.

If anyone can pull this off my brother I have no doubt it will be you. Your spirit amazes me.

I've even sent a couple of threads your way from WOT tonight.

Love and light,

wupy

Oh! I'm lovin' that! Maybe I'll subscribe to the WOT forum again!
I rarely even go in there anymore, but maybe I'll stop in for a brew.

Some people say "The War on Terror".

I say "The Politics of War".

There's a lot of stuff on ATS that really belongs on PTS, IMO. However, as long as a thread getting moved to PTS is considered synonymous with killing it, it will take some convincing to get members to not feel slighted when it happens.

So we need to make sure PTS is a desirable place to start and participate in threads.

What could help?

I heard tings. I heard tings.

And hey, please don't feel obligated to stop by unless something grabs your interest.

Let's make PTS earn your attention.

(And thanks for the encouragement!)

PODcast: The New PTS Revolution (reply 1)

More Sneak Preview Details

Actually, I think I'll wait until this Friday to formally introduce the new FSMEs -- I still have a couple of offers out and want to get everyone on board before we pop the champagne.

But you can still see them here and there -- they are cleverly disguised as ATS FSMEs.

Politics is a subtle business.

Yeah, that timing is pretty interesting. Thanks for starting WWIII, majic!

I totally understand now why the New Post button shows ATS and PTS.

I ain't upset.

As regards politics tainting ATS...

[sarcasm]Yes, the precious War on Terror forum is so pure and non-political! [/sarcasm]

The truth is, now that PTS is actually handling the political side of issues and isn't the thread graveyard it used to be, the WOT forum is actually worth visiting again.

Quite a fabulous idea!!! Not only would this expand ATS, but allow people to go into a whole new realm of discussion.
This site is very important in that it allows people to express their ideas freely, for now, as TPTB are already bringing in the thought police.
Let us all speak freely and in peace while we still can. Good addition, ATS!!!
