Is there suppose to be something sinister behind the government putting fluoride in our drinking water? (In Australia anyway, don't know if they do
that in the US)
Or is it just to help strengthen our teeth and bones

They've been doing this for decades! It was supposed to help us with our teetch protection... it wasn't until many many years later that they
discovered fluride causes bone cancer .
Have you ever noticed the little warning on toothpaste? That, to me, is as great as the small print on fruit pies... "REAL FRUIT FILLING...
artifical flavors" (different subject, but funny none-the-less).

It makes sense that they would put a warning on toothpaste... not to use any more than a size of a pea and to monitor a childs use so they dont
swallow.

I try to avoid taking in large amounts of flouride due to the findings that it could be linked to bone cancer. Even though it could be linked to bone
cancer, they still leave it in our drinking water. I'd rather have a cavity than bone cancer, dammit!

I think they only put floride in tap water, not in bottled filtered water. I always drink filtered water so I'm not too worried about getting
sick.
Floride can turn nasty if ingested in large amounts, so don't eat it! I always avoid swollowing the fluoride the dentist puts on my teeth, it
tastes nasty anyways. Why does it have to be fruit flavored??

You guys are so unlucky. Our tap water (Aruba) is cleaner and tastes better than most (if not all) of the bottled water in the rest of the world.
People don't believe us when we say that we have the best tap water in the world. No flouride, no chlorine. Just fresh, clean H2O.
Even beer (balashi & heineken) brewed and bottled here tastes better than beer made elsewhere.

If you are worried about fluoride or any other water contaminants I strongly suggest you buy a reverse osmosis water filter. You can get a 5 stage
system that will take your water from 280TDS to under 10TDS, removing chlorine, flouride, viruses and other contaminants.
Go to EBay and search for Aqua Safe Canada. It costs about $85 us dollars and you can get like 3 years of filter replacements for about $85 more.
Well worth the effort.

None of that 5-15% juice crap either.
Organic tastes so much better.

Well, as someone who grew up on natural well water, I have never thought that flouridated water tastes very good. Now, hearing all this bone cancer
talk, I'm glad I'm moving back there away from it. Its not perfect water and has sulfer but the addition of a filter/softener makes it crystal
clear. I've been online at MacClean.com shopping for a system for it today.

Kinetico is the best for drinking water. Your water will have absolutely no taste.
It is expensive though, don't know exactly how expensive.
Lived with someone that had it. Unfortunately I don't have that water anymore, have to buy bottled water.

Fluoride lowers IQ.
There was a study done on it and even the amounts that America uses in it's tap water has an effect.
I also read America is the only country putting fluoride in their drinking water. Go figure, or figure go for yourself.

It not only causes bone cancer but is also a brain toxin. Research in China shows that as flouride in drinking increased, I.Q. decreased.
For conspiracy buffs, heres a link describing that the U.S. government recommends flouridating water while in the mean time publishing top secret
documents on its ill affects.

Its OK
Fluoride is only used for making Nukes ...killing rats..oh ..and keeping ur teeth healthy?
(Have a look on a packet of rat poison)
Fluoride is a left over hazard from the US Atomic programmes, they needed a place to dump it, gee guess where they decided to put it. They started in
the US, a test was meant to be done in a small town(the name escapes me) where fluride was put in the drinking water, and that town compared to one of
simliar size up river to see which had the least cavities.
In a couple of yrs, hundreds of Towns in the US and Also New Zealand had fluoride in the water. Other countries soon followed suit.
Heres a real intersting article I just found too.
