It's been shown in this forum before. It's some kind of sealife.
I just went and looked for the thread without luck, but it's in here somewhere.

Yeah its a giant isopod, I remember there was a thread on ATS about it awhile ago.

I thought that bugger was fake at first but its a legit deep sea crustaceans. Really seems like a living fossil

Was gonna say they resemble Lobster or Shrimp. They are probably common in places like japan. We have wierd looking prehistoric (They are true living fossils) looking things called Horseshoe crabs in the Atlantic ocean here in the Northern Atlantic Coast.

I know! It's a biologically engineered wood louse! No, I'm wrong? Crap.

Yeah, these are giant isopods, prehistoric animals that haven't changed in millions of years. How did you get one?

I don't care what it is, all I want to know is, is it edible? And is it tasty?

Wow. The eyes almost look metallic. That thing does not look of this earth.

I would never even think about eating that.

It looks.................tasty. Wow. I can see that critter on a plate, smothered in garlic butter and chives, served in a bed of coconut and ginger jasmine rice with a side of fried okra and a wedge of lemon. MMMMMMMM.

Is there a law against eating prehistoric creatures?

"In zoology, deep-sea gigantism, also known as abyssal gigantism, is the tendency for species of crustaceans, invertebrates and other deep-sea dwelling animals to display a larger size than their shallow-water counterparts."

Man, God only know what creatures live at the bottom of the ocean. Just looking at that thing makes me want to puke.

but who would even look at that thing and get hungry? How twisted would you have to be to see that and think of your next meal without breaking into a vomiting spell?
