Operation TOPPER was an old (1960) CIA project designed to gather photographic intelligence via U-2 spyplanes. Does anyone know what country this operation was meant to target?
I have an idea that it was around South East Asia, because a mission launched on April 5th crashed because of low fuel in Thailand.
Internet searches give NOTHING, surprisingly.

If I read the chart right it says CUBA.
But cant find anything else to confirm this.

Wow, that's a great find, but no, it doesn't say Cuba. One of the airfields is Atsugi, which is located in Japan.
Thanks imbalanced, I've never seen that page before. But yeah, Detachment C is what I'm looking for.
