After weeks of bad weather and little activity (at least that we could see), Mount St Helens finally put on a
good show last night, with a large outburst and the largest tremor
(M3.3) for weeks. It seems likely that a large piece of the
"fin" growing from the lavadome may have collapsed causing the bright display...
