This newbies think that they know everyting. This website has been attacked soo many times by forumites who think and will make you forcibly think that 9\11 was not an inside job.Threads like"screw loose change",9\11 consipracy is nonsense" makes me puke.Son we did months and months of research and most if not all of the senior members like me know what really happened on 9\11.I propose to ban all members/threads as they are nothing but dis info agents. This website's motto is deny ignoranace and making topics which debunk 9\11 attacks are just plain desperation by these neo cons cuz they know that thier NWO will fail.

The dragon will be slayed

We post topics trying to show people the conspiracy. Not much different.

There is one major difference that I notice, though. With things like "Screw Loose Change", etc., you have people trying to disprove the conspiracy angle instead of trying to find evidence for the official story, whereas conspiracy theorists are generally aiming just to back up their own case.

If everyone on the defense went on offense to back up their theory, rather than just attacking the conspiracy theories with any amount of half-baked b.s. they can imagine up and don't have to prove, we might get somewhere. But nobody really backs NIST anymore and uses their report as an argument. Just attack the other guys.

Support freedom, by limiting the free speech of those that oppose you? George get back to bed, you and Cheney can screw the world up more tomarrow, Laura misses you anyway.

I can't believe Dubya has actually made an appearence on this site.

I think what he means is like a competition using REASON. If you enter and fail you are banned.

I got an idea.

How about we let all view points be heard and stop calling people who disagree with us government agents.

Being a "senior" member doesn't give your opinion more merit.

Remember kids,

Correlation does not equal causation.

Coincidences are not proof.

Edit: Oh wait, I joined 14 days before you did warthog. Who exactly are you talking about when you say "most of us senior members". I don't agree.

Whatever he meant, it's a rediculous idea. Why should I be forced to believe certain things if I want to post in certain areas of this site? And why do I have to be a neocon/gov't agent/whatever else if I disagree with what someone says? The last I heard I'm allowed to have my opinion and post my ideas on ANYTHING here.

Failing to use reason and evidence in support of the official story gains those who do that the special distinction.

How about,

BANNED FOR BEING UNREASONABLE in support of anything or against anything?

What i mean is that even after 4 years we still see members say that the islamic terrorists did it.Watch alex jones martial law 911:road to police state.Even after watching it they dont agree. It foolishes to even make these zombies wake up.They have been brainqwahed by media soo much that they belive in anything the media say.Take for example the latest 9\11 bashing post by reallynobody.Even if i force him to watch that alex jones documentary he would still say BS and would give excuses like oh the op would require massive cover up form all agencies which is impossible and if i relpy him about mind control project mk ultra he would think i am mad.Thats why i propose that any thread about 9\11 not being an inside job should be locked as the evidence is just overwhelming that the bush and co did it.Read project northwoods.

So you want a mini-police state on ATS. "Think this way, or your threads are locked!"

So people should be banned for not believing in the same things you do? I don't particularly care for Alex Jones either. I have watched some of his "documentaries" and I still think that terrorists flew those planes into the buildings and that the collapse was not a controlled demolition.

If you only want to hear your side, then stick with prisonplanet, propogandamatrix, and other conspiracy only sites.

If you want to hear all sides and actually make an attempt at finding the truth, ATS is the place to go.

Of course you could also just ignore everyone who disagrees with you and hope they go away. I hear that works well.

seems to be a lot of that going around. The webmaster for opposingdigits.com, has some blibbudy blah, whinig rant on how loose change, and alex jones in particular, is just another piece of crap insider misinformation tactic to 'divert us' from the fact that zionists are behind everything.

here's the post that appeared on my myspace bulletin:

Mod Edit: No Quote – Please Review This Link.

c'mon, its gotta be kinda expensive to travel around the globe, and spend time researching everything. This is alex jones' full time job, it seems.

this retard was immediately removed from my list, and if i were a politician, i would push for a stupid tax thanks to this yahoo.

Pity me all you want, pal. But just because you believe everything written by Mr. Jones, doens't mean the rest of us have to.

How about we ban everyone who insists that their opinion is the only possible answer, and that any one who disagrees with them is brainwashed.

No, a fair authority would have to start a confirmation thread to address any unreasonablness trying to pass as reasonable. And evaluate the disputed notions based on a second level of established factors.

More like, REASON or your threads are locked. With a built in chance to back it up. At which point unreasonable interference would get a suspension.

It is actually a cognitive distortion. "All or nothing thinking" is socially imposed by linguistic convention as a form of "minimizing" or "maximizing". We all distort to degrees. What tells the difference is WHY we do it.

In America supporting a system that conducted 3000 deprivals of due process in capitol crimes, well. ............... if you distort to support you are being un American. Gotta' be straight up here. Lives have been lost, laws violated and and wars waged.

Yes, but you are still free to speak it. (Even if you take a pounding.)

You want to shut down any ideas contrary to your own.

Talk about Orwellian!

If they can produce reason and evidence their position has ascended past opinion.

I can produce evidence and reasonable substantiation for brainwahing, can you do that against it?

When can we expect to see this evidence? I would really like to know how I've been brainwashed by reading ATS.

This thread starter reminds me one of the old jokes from Commie era featuring "Radio Yerevan" questions...

Q: Is there any difference between freedom of speech here and in the West?
A: Generally, just a minor one. Our socialistic constitution grants you the freedom of speech, the western ones grant you freedom AFTER speech.
