Palestinians brace for Israeli invasion, page 1

Israel is amassing sloggers on the Palestinian border and in response Palestinians have blocked roads with bulldozers and sand piles. This is all following the abduction of an Israel slogger two days prior.

Palestinian bulldozers on Tuesday blocked roads in northern Gaza with sand piles, bracing for an Israeli invasion after the recent abduction of an Israeli soldier.

"We are ready to confront any stupid act that the Zionists might commit," said Abu Obeida, spokesman for Hamas‘ military wing. "We are well-prepared and God willing, we are not going to welcome them with flowers."

Israel has massed troops along the border following Sunday‘s abduction of Cpl. Gilad Shalit, who was seized by militants who infiltrated Israel through a tunnel.

We all know there has been much violence in this area so to many this may seem to be no suprise. However with the recent threat of the use of chemical weapons this sounds to be worse to me then usual. Perhaps the slogger will be relise and things will calm down, but I doubt it.
