THAT TRAILER WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
The symbiote looked really realistic (as realistic as a space travelling, symbiotic alien life form could look anyway!)
It seems clear to me that they are using the Symbiote story from the animated series (the church, the ripping off, the bells and Eddie just watching until it takes him!)

I don't like the whole snowboarding style of the Green Goblin though. I was hoping for something more traditional

Yeah, it's just too bad that they ruined the concept of what Venom actually is.
It would've been better if the story took place right after the Secret Wars, but, I guess in the actual continuity, they changed that.
(I don't really read comics anymore so I don't know how they changed the origin of Venom)
