Philip K. Dick's Head Is Missing, page 1

Apparently a roboticist, Mr. Hanson, built an android of Philip K. Dick and he left it on a plane flight. They said they would mail it back but it never arrived.

What happened to the android is a mystery, one that is more than mildly intriguing to fans who knew Mr. Dick as a futurist who advocated freedom and compassion for robots in an evolving world, and that has been debated in the technology press.

The article mentions unpublished work was downloaded into the head. This is obviously a breach of confidentiality and possible copyright infringement in the future. I suspect the head is currently in the hands of somoene who is aware of the value, which I estimate to be now in the millions. How and where could something like this disappear? And what could they possibly hope to get out of it?
