Great news as the time approaches when the birth of Christ is celebrated. A wonderful way to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving. Will keep you in my prayers William.

And good news it is! You have given us all something besides a "bountiful harvest" to be thankful for in our Thanksgiving prayers.

Don't be afraid or the road ahead, because you are going to be fine.

Amen, Marg...WOS has all of us running escort for him too. Ok, everybody, let 'im slide into "rubber duck" position! We'll keep his nose between the ditches & smokey out of his britches!

I'm pretty certain that I'm not the only one here who has some idea how chemotherapy can knock you out...I've seen my Dad go through it when he had cancer, so at least I'm aware of how rough it can be. If they let you off chemo for the holidays, yes it will be great. Since Christmas is supposed to commemorate the birthday of Jesus (even though there's no authentic scripture that specifies his birthday), it seems the best time for us to hold a group prayer for you, WOS. Mine will be to thank Jesus for giving you more birthdays of your own to celebrate.

Keep Spooky close as much as possible...Merely cuddling a pet adds years to your life. Yes, it's been proven in clinical studies! A pet mostly provides stress-reduction which helps stave off the long-term health problems that stress can cause...Stress can even make simple problems worse. God knows you've been under stress lately, so pet Spooky a lot!

Ever try miso soup? There is some anecdotal literature that eating miso soup provides a faster-than-otherwise recovery from the chemo process.

Hang in there! Recently, clinical trials were finally approved by the U.S. National Institutes of Health for macrobiotic food and lifestyle helping with recovery from cancer. If you would like further info, I could dig up a link somewhere on that.

Great news, WOS

A break in the chemo must mean you will actually get to enjoy your food.

Prayers for your continued recovery

Thank you all so very much. I went and had chemo today, and when I spoke with my doctor she said that the growth had shrunk just over 50%. Fromaround 6 centimeters three moths ago, to around 3 this latest scan. I feel great! Again, thank you all so much. You are a wonderful bunch of guys and gals.

this site looks interesting & it also talks about chemotherapy as well.

hmmm can you ask your doctor if chemo weakens your immune system?
