When will the Blackberry 8700 be released for Verizon?

I can't find the answer anywhere. I have a CFO flipping out at me because he wants the new blackberry 8700, but his carrier is Verizon. I've told him that they don't have it yet, but he wants a timetable of when he can get it. It's strange enough that Verizon is the only carrier without it, but to not have any info as to whether or not it will even be released is plain nuts.

Heh, this is like people asking when the new 6900 series iPAQs are coming out.
Nobody knows until marketing says theyre coming out.
