You know what really ticks me off?

Topic started on 21-6-2006 @ 05:09 AM by Mechanic 32

People who believe that they have power over others.

They may have a bit of authority, and that all just goes to their head.

I'm really tired of the belligerant attitude of those who have such 'authority'.

They seem to believe, that just because they have some sort of title, that whatever they say is right.

When questioned, only to use rules and regulations and laws, completely out of context from their original meaning, purpose, and intent.

This is one of the many reasons I will always QUESTION AUTHORITY!

Is there some reason I shouldn't ban you for this?

People that whine about a FREE site that many people put hours of time into to keep it running smoothly, with no pay, little grattitude and much agrivation from a few members that complain because it isn't run to their complete satisfaction.

You know what really ticks me off? Swiss cheese...or rather the fact that it isn't less expensive then regular cheese. I mean you can plainly see that there is less of it with all the holes.

Want to know how I cope with that? I didn' think so, but I'll tell you anyway, and this comes from years of experience in dealing with the most mind-numbing soul-draining bureaucracy you can imagine (and no, I don't mean the government).

Just agree. Agree with everything some nitwit pointy haired doofus authoritarian jerk says. Then do whatever you need to. I can nod like a bobblehead doll in a Buick's back window then totally ignore what I just heard and do what I know needs to be done.

Don't argue, engage in debate, or even question. It's pointless and will only lead to further aggravation.

Just my .02, and I'm sure you agree with me.

But what if the authority over another is wanted? Like if one person willingly submits to another...like in this kind of situation brought on by this face

Is it still wrong?

I really do like that smiley!

I'd hope if you want it, it wouldn't tick you off.

If you're in a situation where you want something that ticks you off, that's a bit too deep for me. In that case it might be time to "Ask Intrepid". He's the man with the plan and the dancer with the answers.

Have, and do. Although I currently work for a small organization, I do a significant amount of work with a HUGE corporation. Madness and incompetence abounds.

I'm always amazed when a member you think would be the last to ever have a meltdown.......has a meltdown.

Mechanic, they might be testing you for the future.

Peace

Well well well... What do we have here? Looks like a one-liner.

Oh, and... *crack* a broken taillight.

Looks like we've got a full-blown crime spree on our hands.

*smacks lips*

Yep.

Looks like I'm gonna have to nip this in the bud!

(Sorry, you just know how much I love irony. I'll shut up now.)
