Anyway, here is the CNN story on their website.

Without any intention of spuring conspiracies, do they know something we don´t or is it just a friendly PR stunt? Either way, interesting story.

They say the seeds will be packaged in tin foil...





Great idea though. Svalbard has some interesting facilities already, so a seed bank will be a nice supplement to a survival base if something goes wrong with the rest of the world
