Wow if this is true, can you form a positive thinking group to stop global warming?
Humans can go on to pollute the planet if we know that this can prevent global warming.

What makes you think serious scientists HAVEN'T investigated the "powers of the mind" for the past 100 years? What makes you think they aren't doing it today?
I think it's time for mainstream science to explore the power of the mind further (actually I'm pretty sure they already are)
it is standard medical procedure to have scans reviewed by more than one person.

I so totally get you ixiy...
I beleive the term could be called - contrarian (or noun- contrary)
I heard about such people in Wicca, and one of the tenants of how to work with them, is to work backwards... (it all still works, but in the way it can)
the following only applies to someone who is a contrarian/negatist... (nothing wrong with being one... different strokes- different folks).
they believe that they cannot predict, or ever be right about anything that they think "will happen" so by saying "i am sure i will get fired today" they are saying in essence "I wont get fired today, because i am always wrong"- so therefore...
you wont get fired...
or ie: maybe another way to get the benefit
say "i will never fall in love" and since you are "always wrong" in your pedictions...
you fall in love...
the key, is taking away power from the negative, by attaching your negativity to it (you are countering it)...
two negatives make a positive...
people that are hopelessly negative can benefit in this way... but in my opinion, it is slightly dangerous to do so...
so be careful ixiy
but again... as the buddists say... go with the flow of the river... you get farther...
