To all ATS members, past, present and future...

Remember, at ATS, we are a big e-family

Man DG how many hugs do you need?!

I keep seeing endless 'huggy' type threads!

Sorry i'm being abit snappy, perhaps it's because I didn't get a hug from the other thread!

Looking at the forum this morning, it seemed like this may be an appropriate time to bring this back up. Seeing a lot of sadness going on, and just thought you all should get a big hug!

*hugs all around*

I've been off the boards for several days precisely because I grow weary of ATS. All the flames, snarkiness, warns and bans make me tired.

Members seem more interested in posting their own threads and opinions than learning from others. Sometimes they don't even follow up on their own threads or they are defensive when someone else makes a point contrary to their own. ATS is certainly a microcosm of the world at large - polarized.

More importantly, however, I find myself wondering if we are really even making a difference. The world goes on, just the same...

BUT today, the very first post I read was DG's. I want to thank you, DG, for the touch of tenderness and humanity you bring to ATS. These are traits woefully missing in today's world. *HUG*

I would also like to thank those ATS members who participate in civil debates and agree to respectfully disagree. *HUGS*

Thanks, too, to those members who challenge my beliefs and broaden my perspective with well thought out and well written posts, speculative posts that are based on reality or facts and posts of a scientific nature. You make ATS a better place. *HUGS*

And last but not least, *HUG* to Redge777, wherever he may be, ATS is not as interesting without him, even if he was slightly touched.

DG my girlfriend, thankyou for this thread, I too have been feeling the same, that is why I have been staying off the forum and traveling round the net catching up on some much needed reading, I do love it here and people like yourself are my treasures, so here is a hug (Or a picture of one) that I have always loved to look at... Lord help me, i take all the comments here to bed with me and dwell on them.

Ok, but you asked for it. I'm going to give ya two hugs; one from me, and one from my pal Semper. You can take them to bed and dwell on them as much as you'd like. Consider the 2nd hug from him.
Besides, my thoughts don't bite.

Edit to add:

Well, it appears that my buddy Semper came around to getting the hugs out there after all, so my second hug is out there in the ether for the next one that needs one. DG, I'm looking atcha!! I hope we can keep this thread open for a while. I think it's quite fitting to have a place where we can stop by just to say hello to one another, aside from the chat rooms.

By the way, glad to see ya still around Semper buddy!! How's life?

I know that I am yet to be considered "family" but to all I give freely my hugs, my loving caresses, and some kisses to the guys.. they can line up for me also..

I hope that everyone is calmer and more clearer now that they recieve all this love... all it takes is one person to change a life.. maybe it will be YOU..

Now onward my fellow peeps... to enlightenment and truth

As far as I know, just signing up makes you "family"

Welcome, and hugs

Hey I'd give out hugs more freely but one thing always seems to lead to another and, before you know it.. I forget to call afterwards and we'd just end up arguing again

Rule of thumb is you have to call at least TWICE to be polite. Havent you learned that yet?
